I have been a home-based educator for 14 years. I am mum to two daughters, I love to spend time with them and create memories. I am patient, empathetic and caring. It has been a privilege over the years to be part of the lives of so many children, watching them grow, develop and meet their milestones. It's so rewarding!
I am available Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (negotiable).
I believe that children learn through play and that every child learns differently and at their own pace. I harness their individual strengths and interests to plan my programme.
Children should be able to have fun, laugh, and make friends in a safe and secure environment, which offers them support and opportunities to learn and grow.
I live in Hokowhitu, Palmerston North.
We attend music, playgroup, gym, nga taputapu, nature walks and library visits.
I offer a range of learning activities and resources, including imaginative play items such as doctor kits, toy food, dolls, cars and trains, post office, tool and gardening kits, and more! We enjoy building with, blocks, making puzzles, integrating te reo Māori into our day and we get out in nature as much as possible.
I have completed the New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4) and I have a current first-aid certificate.
