About Me
I have worked in the childcare industry most of my life and worked with a lot of children from different backgrounds. I have raised my own children and nephews, who are now having children of their own. I have skills in communication and collaboration, I am a great listener, adaptable, empathetic and patient.

My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
I currently have space in November for an under or over-2-year-old, Monday-Friday.
My Philosophy
I believe that each child is an individual who learns at their own pace. I value and help develop each child's strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge, to extend their learning.
I believe that children learn through play. I provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and imagine, in an environment that allows for supervised exploration.
My Environment
live in Kelvin Grove, in Palmerston North.
I offer age-appropriate toys, games and activities. I have an environment where children can ride bikes and scooters outside, where there are also swings, slides, a playhouse, a climbing frame, and an outside kitchen where the children can make as many potions and pots of soup as they like!
Inside I have a play area and a quiet area where the children can play games or build with blocks, or just read books if they would like some quiet time. I also have plenty of musical instruments, if your child loves to sing and dance.
My Training
I hold the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4). I also have a current child first aid certificate.
