I am a mum of two and previously worked as a nurse aide in NICU and Intensive Care for 17 years. I love to watch children learn, grow and discover. It takes a big heart to shape little minds.
I am available Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm.
I currently have spaces Monday-Friday, for an under and over-2-year-old.
I believe that learning best takes place in a positive supportive environment. I believe in encouraging children to learn at their own pace and guiding them in their learning journey. I tailor programmes to meet individual needs and interests. I believe in developing connections with families as tamariki becomes part of our ‘Tiny’ home-based whānau.
I am based in Mosgiel, Dunedin.
Our programme includes dance, waiata, outdoor exploration, messy play, sensory play, arts and crafts, playdates, baking and cooking, plus dress-up and imaginative role play.
Excursions out and about in the community include trips to our local library, play gym, park visits and playgroups.
I hold the NZ certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4), I have a current first-aid certificate and have attended professional development courses in Child Protection.
