With five years of experience as a home-based educator and thirteen years as a mum, I bring both professional knowledge and real-life parenting experience to my setting. I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, secure, and truly cared for, and I work hard to create a warm, calm environment where they can thrive.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, which inspires the many outdoor opportunities I provide for the children in my care. I believe fresh air, exploration, and nature play are an essential part of childhood.
I am available Monday-Friday, 7am-3.30pm (with some flexibility).
I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, and time spent in nature. As a home-based educator, I create a warm, nurturing environment where curiosity is encouraged and childhood is respected.
The outdoors is our classroom. Nature provides endless opportunities for exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and resilience. Whether we are digging in the garden, splashing in puddles, or observing the changing seasons, children develop a deep connection to the world around them.
Messy play is welcomed and valued. Through mud, paint, water, sand, and open-ended materials, children build confidence, imagination, and essential skills. I focus on the process of learning rather than the final product.
Above all, I aim to support confident, capable, and joyful learners who feel safe, seen, and celebrated every day.
I provide a warm, calm, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. My space is thoughtfully organised with a wide range of engaging resources that are regularly rotated to maintain children’s interest and support different areas of learning and development.
I offer a rich indoor environment that promotes creativity, independence, and exploration. In addition, children benefit from access to a well-equipped outdoor play area that encourages physical development, nature exploration, and imaginative play.
I strive to create a balanced environment that supports children’s emotional well-being while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
I hold the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4). I also have a current first-aid certificate.
