I'm an experienced home-based educator. I have specialised in providing care and learning opportunities for children with additional needs. I am very active and enjoy being outside. I enjoy my veggie garden and the process of growing things. I love learning alongside my children, we all have something to learn. I enjoy being of service to families and believe that the small, home-based ratio is very special.
I am available Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.
I have a space Monday - Friday for an under or over-2-year-old.
I love learning alongside my children, I believe we have as much to learn from our children as they do from us. I love to see that spark happen when they have learnt a new skill this is an exciting experience for everyone.
I live in Grasmere, Southland.
I enjoy going to our playgroup, play pods and the other outings planned by Tiny Nation. Alongside this, we often visit the local school to explore their play areas. We are always on the lookout for any community events throughout the year and in our region, to ensure that we are getting the best out of our environment.
I love having our quiet times, where we make pictures, colouring, do puzzles and read books.
Having our own pets at home is a big part of our learning and I believe being with animals helps create kind, caring children with empathy and compassion. Animals relieve stress and create calming emotions.
I hold the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4) and I have a current first aid certificate. I have also completed a child protection seminar.
Right from day one, Danni has had a confident and calming presence. E was welcomed into her home environment and part of the daily routines, which made it super easy for her to adapt to her first form of childcare. Danni provides E with such a huge range of meaningful learning experiences and has done well to adapt their day so she is always having fun but being challenged too. E talks about Danni on her days off and always is excited to go to Danni's on her days.
