"A sense of adventure" 
Our family had the privilege of getting to know Dianne when our boy Finlay attended (the centre in Napier where she worked) for just under 3 years. He often described Dianne as his favourite teacher. What we loved about Dianne is she walked the talk in regards to the type of lifestyle we hoped to instil in our boy. Often we saw her out running up Sugar Loaf or riding her bike to and from work. Dianne spent a lot of time outside at (the centre) in nature which is another reason Fin liked her. We felt her values aligned with our family's. Dianne often had conversations with Fin and another boy Fin was friends with, about tramping. When I heard Dianne was going to do home-based care after her epic adventure of walking the T.A trail, I thought if we moved back to Napier I would 100% ask her to look after our second boy Elliott. Dianne is calm by nature and has a real sense of adventure. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare. She was always professional, loving and caring towards our Fin and his friend, who also loved having her as his teacher.
