I have been an educator for five years and I absolutely love what I do. I enjoy working from home and do a lot in the community with the children each week. I am also mum to five daughters.
I am available Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm.
I currently have a spaces Monday - Thursday for an under or over-2-year-old 8:30am-3pm.
I believe that each child is an individual. I provide a safe and loving environment where each child can develop their strengths, interests, skills and knowledge. As an educator, I help extend their learning.
Children learn through play. I provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and imagine.
I live in Waitara, close to the beach, town and local parks.
I offer an environment that is safe and where children can explore and learn alongside others, at their own pace.
I provide an environment that allows children to explore freely and develop new skills and interests. Activities include free play, messy play, water play, crafts and gardening.
My care children and I enjoy getting out in the community regularly, to attend playgroups, music groups, farm visits, parks and playgrounds in Waitara and New Plymouth. We visit the local bike park, museums, Brookland Zoo and enjoy many more excursions around New Plymouth.
I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Homebased). I hold a current child first-aid certificate and I have completed a number of other courses in child development, curriculum, health and safety.
