14 years ago my life changed for the better when I became a home-based educator and began working with children, which I love. I am also the founder of 'Rock-a-Tots', a local music group that is open to educators in the area.
I am available Monday-Friday, 7.30am-5pm.
I currently have a space Monday-Friday for an under or over-2-year-old.
I love working with children and watching them learn. My home is always full of fun and laughter.
I was inspired when I raised my daughter on my own, I know how difficult it can be to juggle work and childcare. As a result, I love to 'give back' and help families while they work.
I enjoy caring for and teaching children as they play and grow. I believe all children deserve a secure, calm, and caring environment to enjoy, learn and have fun.
I live in central Whanganui.
I plan our week each week and include outings to local community music groups, local walks and park visits, trips to Victoria Lake, and Tiny Nation-organised events.
We enjoy the comfort and routine of home in our afternoons, complete with fun and engaging activities that support the children's current and individual interests. This includes arts and crafts, outdoor play on bikes, playing in the sandpit, and baking.
I hold the National Certificate in Early Childhood (Level 3) and a current first-aid certificate.
