About Me

I'm a mum of two and a qualified home-based educator, I have more than 10 years experience of caring for preschool children. I feel passionate about giving children the right start in life and providing a nurturing home environment for learning and development.

My Availability

I am available Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm.

I have a space Monday - Friday for an Under or Over 2 year old.

My Philosophy

I believe that each child is unique and that preschool experiences have a lasting impact on development and education.

Your child is an individual with unique interests and needs. With home-based care your child is supported as a member of an extended family, enabling them to develop positive and nurturing relationships with others.

My Environment

I live in Green Island, Dunedin. Children enjoy the interactions of a small group at my home and larger socialisation opportunities out and about in our community.

Regular outings allow the children to develop a sense of belonging within their environment, self-confidence and awareness through exploration.

At home, children enjoy our theme days, the backyard adventure playground, gravel pit, water play, baking, play dough, reading, arts and crafts, growing vegetables, flying kites and making use of the many resources in the playroom.

We are limited only by our imagination and we never run out of that!

My Training

I hold the National Certificate in Early Childhood (Level 4) and I hold a current first-aid certificate. I’ve also completed a number of other relevant child development courses.
