My Philosophy
I believe all children, no matter what race, gender, or religion, can reach their full potential and grow to be knowledgeable and constructive learners, in a positive reciprocal environment with support, encouragement and a sense of equality.
I involve the children and whānau in sourcing ideas, resources and support. This allows me to expand on activities that help children develop skills and knowledge while creating a diverse environment that supports play-based learning.
My Environment
I live in Gore, Southland.
I aim to inspire greatness, in a holistic setting, with the emphasis being on building children's strengths and understanding.
I create a nurturing reciprocal, inclusive environment, to inspire children to feel passionate and creative. I support them on their journey to become positive, valued members of society.
I am proud to be involved in a curriculum that has Te Whāriki and the Tiriti o Waitangi to guide us through the combination of cultures in Aotearoa, giving children a voice.
My Training
I hold the National Certificate in Early Childhood (Level 4) and I have a current first-aid certificate.
