I am Mum to two amazing children and a professional accountant, however, tamariki are my passion. This passion led me to early childhood education and over the past 12 years I have worked as a home-based childcare consultant and educator. I love this role, our days are filled with play, exploration, wonder and discovery.
I am available Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.
I believe in celebrating each child’s uniqueness, our days together are flexibly catered to individual needs, strengths and interests. It is such a pleasure and privilege to be entrusted with parents’ precious tamariki and share with them the developmental stages and growth of their children. I value the close bonds that I form and provide nothing less than the same level of care I could wish for, should I need childcare.
I am based in Whanganui. Our whare is spacious. Downstairs is set up as a self-contained playroom, while upstairs is the living area, opening out onto a large section for outdoor adventure.
Whilst the tamariki in my care are always keen to play at home we also attend community and Tiny Nation activities, to ensure that they receive as many opportunities to interact and make sense of the wider world.
Our mornings together are fun-packed, whilst our afternoons are set aside for rest and relaxation.
I hold the NZ certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 3), I have a current first-aid certificate and have completed the Child Protection professional development course.
