About Me
I have been an educator for over 24 years and I have enjoyed encouraging my care children to grow and develop into confident, capable learners. I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, op shopping, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

My Availability
I am available Tuesday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.
I currently have spaces Tuesday - Friday for an over-2-year-old.
My Philosophy
I'm a firm believer in the free-play philosophy but I do have routines for sleeping and eating.
I work with my families to create a programme for each child, ensuring everyone has their individual needs met. I also believe that communication is very important.
I provide an environment where each child has the space, time, and resources they need to grow and develop, to extend their learning and interests, and to explore their world. I encourage the children to spend time outside in nature by going for walks, growing vegetables and flowers.
My Environment
I live in Oamaru with my husband and daughter. Our home is warm and welcoming, with a fully fenced, secure play area where children can explore safely. We also have a variety of resources to support learning and development.
Our family includes a dog and a cat, adding to the friendly and nurturing environment for the children.
My Training
I hold the National Certificate in Early Childhood (Levels 3 and 4). I have a current first-aid certificate and I have attended many webinars and personal development courses during my career as an educator.
