About Me
I’m Monique, a home-based childcare educator and a parent of over 10 years. My own parenting journey has given me valuable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of children’s individual needs. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and calm environment where children feel secure and supported. I believe children learn best through play, routine, and positive relationships, and I strive to create a home-like space where every child feels valued.

My Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is grounded in play-based learning and child-led experiences, recognising that children learn best when they are actively engaged and supported through positive relationships, consistent routines, and respectful guidance.
My Environment
My learning environment is designed to be warm, calm, and welcoming, where children feel safe, secure, and confident to explore. I provide a home-like setting that supports routines while allowing flexibility to meet each child’s individual needs. I encourage messy play as well as attend regular outings to playgroups, other local educators or simply a walk to our local park.
My Training
I have over 10 years of parenting experience and a strong understanding of children’s routines, emotional needs, and development.
I have a passion for providing safe, nurturing, play-based care.
I am currently studying towards my Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education and hold a First Aid Certificate.
