Kia Ora, I’ve recently moved to New Zealand with my sister from Malaysia. I am trilingual, I speak very fluent English, Malay and Mandarin Chinese. I’ve worked in corporate for over 10 years and decided to change my career to pursue my passion for children. I’ve worked full-time in a center based teaching tamariki and find the joy and happiness watching them grow and learn new things everyday.
I am available Monday-Friday, 6:00am-7:00pm.
I currently have spaces for under or over-2-year-olds.
I believe children thrive in a supportive, nurturing environment where they feel encouraged to explore and learn. I also value fostering independence from a young age. With plenty of opportunities for outdoor learning and activities, tamariki can grow and discover in the beautiful surroundings of Canterbury.
My home is a safe and cosy space for children to learn and play. I have a room dedicated for rest and naps. We are fortunate to have a big playground facing our living room and Pegasus Lake a stones throw away. Depending on the interest of the children, resources will be provided for their learning.
I’m currently pursuing my Level 5 in ECE with Te Rito. I have a current first-aid certificate.
