About Me
Hi, I'm Oceane, I'm originally from France, and have been living in New Zealand for more than 10 years. I have two boys who are 8 and 2 years old.
I have been an educator for 3 years and also have experience in being a nanny. I love to be outside and enjoy exploring through play in nature.

My Philosophy
I believe all children are unique individuals who are in control of their own bodies, minds, and ways of exploring the world around them. Through play and child-led experiences, children can truly grow and explore. I value open communication with children, encouraging them to express themselves, and make their own choices. I enjoy supporting them in following through with their choices, building responsibility and confidence. Consistency and routine are very important to my philosophy and they provide children a sense of stability and security, which allows them to grow, learn and thrive in a safe environment.
My Environment
I have a large range of resources to explore, from cars, puzzles, book and other resources. We are lucky enough to have a large section with an area for children to bike, run, and play with balls. We are then also fortunate to have a large scenic reserve which we can go on an excursion to explore in nature and immerse ourselves in the beautiful environment filled with lots of natural play and beautiful scenery.
We also like to regularly visit different places in our community, such as the zoo, museum, local parks, and walks, and meet with our other tiny friends.
My Training
I have a level 4 in early childhood education and care. I also have a current first-aid certificate.
