My name’s Becky and I live in Riverton with my husband and my 3 children. I am currently working towards my ECE level 4, I have recent experience working in an early childhood centre and 15 years of experience in my most important role – being a Mum

My Philosophy
I’m a creative person and love working with my hands, I love reading, walking in nature, music, baking and growing/preserving/cooking my own homegrown kai. I’m passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment where curiosity and exploration are at the heart of our daily routines. I believe in the power of interest led learning, allowing Tamariki to pursue what lights them up and develop a lifelong love for knowledge/learning. I am committed to nurturing each child’s unique potential, providing a positive and supportive environment that empowers them to thrive.
My Environment
My approach emphasises respect for nature, integrating outdoor experiences into my planning to cultivate an appreciation for the world around us through play and exploration.
My Training
I am currently enrolled to study for my level 4 in early childhood education and care. I also have a current first-aid certificate.
