A Warm and Welcoming Environment
Our daughter has been in Sarah's care since she was 7 months old and will be there until she heads off to school at the start of next year. Sarah has always provided a warm and welcoming environment, supporting our daughter through every stage, making sure she was ready for Kindy at 3 and now ready to start school. Sarah provides a wide range of outings and activities for the children in her care, as well as creative arts and crafts projects, which our daughter loves showing off with pride at pick-up time! Our daughter feels truly at home at Sarah's house, building lasting bonds with the other children and Sarah's family. Sarah's warmth and good humour shine through in the relationship she's built with our daughter and with us as parents. Couldn't recommend her highly enough.
Flourish Under Her Care
We've been with Sarah for 8 years now, and all 3 of our girls have spent the first 5 years of their little lives with her. Not having family here in NZ, we were looking for someone to be another adult in their life who would love them and care for them like family. When we first met Sarah, we instantly felt at ease and comfortable. It felt like home. Sarah has exceeded any and every expectation we had. She's taught the kids sign language, they get to sew, they often bake, and they are always off on another adventure to forests, beaches, museums, and playgroups. She makes a huge effort to celebrate the girls' Irish heritage in any way she can. They learn to write their names, they learn beautiful manners, and important social skills. Our girls have and continue to flourish under her care. We are forever grateful we found her.

Sarah cared for our two children for a year, and when our third child was born, it was without hesitation that we asked Sarah to care for her as well. Sarah is creative, organised, and exceptionally caring. She provided a warm and nurturing environment where our children not only felt safe and loved but also had a wonderful time every day. Her activities were always engaging and thoughtful. Our children would come home full of stories and excitement about what they'd done that day. Sarah managed routines with ease, communicated clearly and regularly with us, and consistently showed a deep understanding of each child’s individual needs and personality. We are incredibly grateful for the care Sarah provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for a trustworthy and dedicated child minder.
