I have a deep passion for early childhood education. I believe learning should be a joyful experience, and I love seeing children's faces light up with excitement as they discover new things. I am an amputee, but it doesn't stop me from pursuing my passions. I have a loving family, including my husband and two teenage boys, along with three cats and a puppy. I enjoy arts and crafts, and I love to paint in my free time. Before my amputation, I worked as a home-based educator, a role I found incredibly rewarding. I also gained experience working at a centre in Stratford last year, which strengthened my determination to grow my career in early childhood education. Currently, I am studying for my Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Being a mum has been the most valuable work experience, and it has deeply enriched my understanding of children's development and needs.
I am available Monday - Friday,
8:00am-5:00pm.
I currently have space for under and over-2-year-olds, Monday-Friday.
In early childhood education, I believe in fostering a joyful and engaging learning environment where children can explore their unique interests and hobbies. Every child is different, and I aim to support their individual growth through various activities that cater to their passions. Additionally, I value incorporating Māori culture into our learning journey, encouraging all children to participate and learn alongside me.
I offer a fun and stimulating environment at my home, filled with a variety of age-appropriate activities and toys. Children can enjoy dress-ups, arts and crafts, puzzles, bikes, dolls, and racing car tracks. There's something for everyone to explore and enjoy!
