I am a caring and committed home based educator who enjoys creating a warm and welcoming space for children. As a parent, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, loved, and supported while they grow and learn.
I aim to make sure every child in my care feels valued and confident. It means a lot to be part of a child’s early years, and I enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with families along the way.
I am available Monday-Friday,
8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
I have a space Monday- Friday for over and under 2 year olds.
I believe early learning is about more than knowledge. It is also about helping children grow into kind, confident, and independent people. I want tamariki to feel proud of who they are and curious about the world around them.
Kindness, respect, and care are at the heart of how I teach. I lead by example and support children as they learn to make good choices, work with others, and build strong values that will help them throughout life.
My home is a safe and fun place for learning. I offer a mix of activities that support all areas of development. Children enjoy creative play, arts and crafts, playdough, stories, and time outdoors in a secure backyard.
We also do gardening, music and movement, early reading and maths games, and practice simple life skills like tidying up and helping with daily tasks.
We explore the community through regular walks, visits to playgroups, local parks, and community events. These experiences help children connect with others and the world around them.
I am currently studying toward a Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education and I hold a current first aid certificate.
