About Me
I have been a home-based educator for 11 years and hold a Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care. I am based in Greymouth on the West Coast, and my home is filled with resources! I have a large section that allows for plenty of space for outdoor fun.
I am a busy wife and mum, and in my spare time, I enjoy catching up with family and friends.

My Philosophy
I believe children learn best through play. I am also a big believer in children needing routines and also consistency. I strive to make my learning environment a safe and happy space for the children, and also their families as it really does take a village.
My Environment
I offer lots of indoor and outdoor space. We have a 1/4 acre section, that offers a lot of space to ride bikes, kick a ball, run around, sand pit with a closed in space, a mini trampoline, playhouse and also a army tank playhouse.
Indoors I have a closed in conservatory which is our messy play area where we paint, explore playdough, general art and crafts. Inside I have a huge selection of toys, puzzles and general toys of cars, trains, blocks, dolls and other resources.
My Training
I have National Certificate in Early Childhood and Care (Level 4) and a current first aid course. Both of these are displayed in my conservatory.
