Tracie

I would like to send my commendations to three of your educators, Tracie, Paula and Ruth, who all regularly bring their children to the library at Te Manawa for our preschool programmes. These caregivers do an amazing job, of showing love and attention to all the children in their care. I would heartily recommend them to any parent looking for a caregiver for their child or children. They come to Rhymetime every Wednesday and the children they bring are so well-behaved. They are a credit to their parents and their caregivers. We are always very happy to see them here because the children act as role models to the other children in the session. They join in the dancing and music with such enthusiasm and listen to the stories etc. I would certainly be happy to see my grandchildren in the care of such professional, kind educators.

Tracie has been an integral part of our lives over the past year. When I first considered returning to work and placing our daughter in care, I was understandably nervous. However, from the moment I met Tracie, I knew our daughter would be in safe hands. Not only does she get to engage with a diverse group of children in the community, but she also spends plenty of time outdoors, enjoying nature and all the learning opportunities it provides.

Our daughter has developed a wonderful relationship with Tracie, and it’s clear she’s thriving under her care. Tracie has an incredible ability to instil values of inclusivity, open-mindedness, and respect, helping our daughter grow in ways that go beyond the basics of childcare. She truly helps foster a kind and thoughtful perspective in our little one.

What stands out most is how Tracie supports our entire family. She genuinely cares about us, creatively addressing any challenges we face and offering reassurance when we need it most. Thanks to her, we’ve learned that what sometimes feels overwhelming is actually just part of the process. We are so grateful for the peace of mind Tracie provides and the incredible care she gives our daughter.

Both my children have been lucky to have Tracie as their educator. My eldest was with her from the age of 1 until she was 4 years old and my 9-month-old is currently enrolled with Tracie. 
Tracie provides the highest level of care, safety, adventure and education for the children in her care. So much so that many of my friends who are also mums tell me that they wish they had ‘a Tracie’ nearer to where they live. 

I cannot recommend her home-based care enough. With a 1:4 ratio, my children have been so lovingly cared for and have had the opportunity to experience much more than a traditional daycare. If you are after:

• A safe and clean environment 
• Individualised education and care
• Less sick days!! My kids were hardly ever sick compared to those in larger daycares
• Reliability
• Incredible support with anything and everything i.e. sleep, bottle feeding, toilet training
• Someone who consistently goes the extra mile for you and your children 

Then look no further! Leaving my children to return to work was one of the hardest things I will ever do. But I have so much comfort knowing the quality care they are getting and how much fun they are having with Tracie.
